Less food: To lose weight you need to reduce the amount of food you eat. Have fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils, low fat milk products, small amount of fish and lean meats. Curtail intake of saturated fat; no tobacco, no more than one drink a day. Exercise at least 30 minutes/day.

Where: If you have a big rib cage, your chest will always be larger than average.  On the other hand, a slim figure is usually better defined by the waistline which is not necessarily correlated to your chest size.  The size of buttock is harder to control but is still affected by how much you weigh.

: It does not. Short of surgically removing the fat, you can not target one area for fat loss any more than you target an area for fat gain. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

when i bend down to work, on getting up, it is with piercing pain especially around my waist, more on the right side?

Poss Muscle strain: or pinched nerve.  When a person stands up after bending down, there is a lot of strain on the muscles along the spine. Also, there are a lot of vulnerable nerves that can get pinched with bending.  Instead of bending, it is recommended that one keeps the back fairly straight and bends at the knee or squats. Hello. : Hello. It is hard to figure this out with the description. Maybe a small lipoma (that would feel squishy). Maybe a knot in the abdominal musculature? Maybe a small herniation through the muscle wall? I am sorry, these are just stabs at what the problem is. You will probably need to have it examined to determine the etiology.

Herniated disc: Numbness from the waist down is not a good sign if it is truly present. It indicates damage to the nerves that go down the legs. The damage may be mild and transient or more severe. The most common cause would be a herniated disc in the lumbar spine.  You should be evaluated by a doctor soon. Not necessarily the emergency room or urgent care but within a week.
