if i really concentrate i can feel tiny (less than 4mm)little lumps in both my forearms on top when i flex... are these lymph nodes? they are soft.

Not lymph nodes: They are not lymph nodes and probably mean nothing. If you are that concerned, have a doctor take a look.

is it normal to be able to feel lymph nodes in your chest? i noticed one because it hurt and then i started filling around and now i can fill a few more pea size knots in my chest. i also have one on my inner forearm. should i be concerned?

: I doubt that you can feel lymph nodes "inside" your chest. I would show what ever it is that is causing concern who can examine you and them.

LNs: Time to get an exam. Sensitive skin from elbow down forearm to 5th finger is often pressure on the ulnar nerve at elbow. But with axillary lymph nodes, time for an exam if they are enlarged, tender, etc.

Not routinely: most of the lymph nodes in the axilla are located along the axillary vein which is high up in the axilla.  There is a fat pad below the vein which is easily  palpable and occasionally  nodes there can be felt, even though very small.  If  they enlarge and increase in  number then biopsy should be performed.  Check the arm and chest wall on that side to be sure there are no responsible skin lesions

Lymph nodes: that in your armpits , are clusters of small round nodes in the armpits closer to your body, if you pap late them and they are slightly swollen ,that might indicate infection of inflammation in the surrounding area that drains its lymph to these glands, hope that help

: Being thin does allow someone to feel lymph nodes. Although the ability to feel or palpate for them is more important. Before going to medical school I was a chiropractor.  As a result of being a chiropractor. My sense of touch is very well developed, so in general, my skill level to palpate allows me to feel lymph nodes many doctors can't feel. A sensitive  and diserning touch is more  important

Nearby: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.

Considering...: Considering your genetic origin......a lymph node biopsy will be best advise. It can be bacterial, Mycobacterial, Lymphoma.......If using stick deodorant.....switch to liquid or spray. Take a course of Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) DS. Iron your undergarments...
