i have a small, firm, rope like mass on the inside of my thigh. it's unchanged for 5+ yrs & the tech couldn't find it on ultrasound. i'm worried about something like epithelioid sarcoma. is that possible with something i've had this long?

: If you can feel the mass you could have the tech feel the area. . Anything is possible in medicine but your  precise self diagnosis is probably incorrect. Best is to see a surgeon and have it removed

i have  3.1cm growth in glute. after ultrasound docfound cystic and solid component that could be atypical lipoma or hematoma. could this be sarcoma?

Unlikely: While it is possible, it is very unlikely. Options include repeat imaging in 3-6 months, or surgical removal. Ask your doctor what is best for you.  It's important to realize however that nobody can see the future, and any test can be incorrect.  Go with your gut feeling after a thoughtful discussion with your doc.  Hope this helps!

3 cm long mass on my r calf soleus muscle, and a 2nd 1cm mass 1" lower on my soleus muscle. pain radiating to the toe, no redness, no warmth. per ultrasound, not a lipoma or blood clot. can this be a baker's cyst? i'm thinking soft tissue sarcoma?

: Baker's cyst is occurs on back of the knee. You shouls see an ortho doc instead of speculating and trying self diagnosis. Good luck

A type of cancer: Sarcomas are type of cancer affecting the connective tissue, muscles and bone.  These are less common than epithelial cancers.

Get MRI: A tumor needs to be excluded. Suggest MRI to do that. Still could be a lipoma however. Need to see what this is.

i'm a healthy 19year old male that found a small mass in my forearm. it's like an oval ball that's 2cm and can't been seen with bare eye the mass is mobile and painless. it's not swollen nor you can see it without touching it. is it a tissue sarcoma?

: Where is it located on your forearm? If it is near your elbow then it is likely what is called an epitrochlear lymph node. These nodes often enlarge in response to infections that are more distal, such as the hand or fingers.

good morning doctors! i have two separate purple, for lack of better words, blotches on my left forearm, closer to my muscle on the underside. could it be ecchymosis or possibly sarcoma? how can one distinguish? cannot see dermatologist for two weeks

Other explanations..: Depending on the preceding History, if there was trauma- like hitting one's hand on something; in which case ecchymosis might be the the answer. However, there are several other explanations for the observed 'blotches' but stretching it to sarcoma without professional evaluation and possible biopsy could be misleading. In the absence of the dermatologist, One can see the PCP and go from there.

Early Gestation: You would expect to see an approximately 8mm long embryo with fetal heart activity and a small attached yolk sac within a small gestational sac. Something like the attached image of a 7 week gestation.
