i have pain from feet to shoulders, lyrica (pregabalin) prednisone oxycodone vicodin percocet klonopin lyrica (pregabalin), no help at all, i was told to see pain management doctor, why, what could they possibly do for pain?

They are experts: Once the pain becomes severe and chronic they have other procedures such as spinal cord stimulators or even intrathecal morphine pumps if all medications in adequate dosages fail.

Urine drug screen: Fentanyl will shows up in urine as morphine while Percocet will show up as oxycodone

Not quite: One of the active ingredients in Percocet is oxycodone, but Percocet is the specific brand-name of a medication that combines oxycodone with Acetaminophen (the active ingredient in tylenol).

Not the same...: Percocet, in addition to having 10 mg of oxycodone, also has 325 mg of Acetaminophen (tylenol) in it. That is a possible reason why it might work better for you than oxycodone alone. I am not sure about the sickness part. Roxicodone comes in 5, 15, or 30 mg doses. Perhaps you are taking either the 15 or 30 and that is making you more nauseous?

No: tests for opiates vary and the fact it is a 12-panel test means little. Many urine opiate tests will not detect oxycodone, while others have a specific panel that will detect it.  However, it cannot tell the difference between the oxycodone in a 30 mg tablet and that in a oxycodone-acetaminophen combo.  Why are you concerned is my question? People with drug issues should be concerned with that.

The same: both are opioids, but define what kind of reaction you had to either, was it itching, redness, ? those are rather side effects of the opiods in general not a true allergy, at any rate if you don't feel comfortable taking them, stop and ask your doctor for an alternative analgesic, a potent NSAID would do as good, wish you wellness

Let your doc know: He/ She is the only one that can modify your prescription. Sometimes there are limitations imposed by insurance companies on the number of pills you can receive per month.

That may be the : case if the oxycodone was due to run out on 9/13.  Now a days physicians have to be very cautious when prescribing narcotics. There are an extraordinary number of opiate related deaths in this country each year.

Typical pain pill: Relief of pain typically last 4-6 hours, just like all the short acting/immediate release medications.

Dosing: Dosing is the only difference. They both have oxycodone and acetaminophen, tylox has 5mg of oxycodone and 500mg of acetaminophen, where as Percocet has different levels or oxycodone and Acetaminophen (multiple dosing formaulations), most commonly 5 mg of oxycodone and 325mg of acetaminophen.
