my son will be 12 in feb & hes 145 but has fever from ear infection 103.5 how much tylonal can i give him. i have adult liquid cause be wont take pill?

TYLENOL (acetaminophen) / IBUPROFEN: Tylenol (acetaminophen) dose will be between 600 to 800 mg every 4-6 hourly. If you have 500 mg/15 ml, can give him 18-20 ml each time.
Other option for fever with ear infection will be ibuprofen, it will work as anti inflammatory. Dose will be 
600 mg every 6-8 hourly.

Otitis media: Fever and shivering are all associated with an acute ear infection. Keep Tylenol (acetaminophen) and/or ibuprofen on board and continue oral antibiotics as instructed. She should feel better in 48 hours

Not to the patient: If you are concerned they are the cause of your symptoms, be checked. Generally middle ear infection causes pain and inner ear infection causes vertigo or room spinning. All the best.

Yes, pain can: lead to increase in heart rate, due to stress, pain killers, with other medicines prescribed for your condition, will help the infection and pain, if no improvement see your doctor for re-evaluation , best wishes

my grandson, 2 yrs old, has a temp of 95.7, what could cause this?  the urgent care says possible ear infection.

Not fever: Normal temp is usually 98.0-99.6.  Common causes for a low temp are thermometer malfunction, mouthbreathing, cold air exposure, early URI -uncommon) and hypothyroidism(rare).  I don't think I have ever seen an ear infection cause a low temperature

Maybe/not: At 38 C I would consider it as little chance for a true problem infection. I would not consider it enough to need any treatment at all as most minor fever increases circulation &amp; allows natural healing factors to reach the problem/fix it quicker. If the kid develops ear pain, a 39 C fever I would consider it more likely to be an ear infection or other issue needing treatment.
