Post op Pain: Surgeons need to know if the post operative experience is in any way complicated. Pain is used as the guide in many cases. You  should have been sent home with instructions on what to do if you have any complications after surgery.  I doubt many of us here online would want to comment during an important process that includes communicating with your surgeon about your severe pain.

Gas pains: High fiber foods can produce gas. Change your diet for a few days to reduce the gas.

Yes: But save money and eat more naturally - especially vegetable and fruit and you will get a gentler more natural result.  Btw increasing fiber in your diet reduces your cholesterol too!

Yes : Its possible. Start taking over the counter probiotic such as align which may help with bloating. Switching to a diff brand of fiber may help as well.

Nutrition & exercise: Sorry to be party pooper but there is no way to lose stomach fat quickly w/o resorting to surgery. Exercise will strength (stomach) muscles but need to eat healthy in order to shed fat to reveal 6 pack. Greek yogurt is latest rage w/plenty of protein but most yogurts aren't good source of fiber. Look to brightly or darkly colored fruits & veggies as well as whole grains for fiber. Aim for 25-36g/d.

Hi gh fiber: Foods with inadequate fluids or excessive caffeine or alcohol will cause your symptoms. Drink 80-100 ounces of caffeine free/alcohol free fluid daily, more if you exercise.

: To provide appropriate treatment the cause of your symptoms must be firmly established. Yes theren is something internally wrong. Proper diagnosis, extent of the problem, and appropriate treatment will require a physical examination, medical/pharmceutical history, probably imaging, probably lab tests. Please see a General Practitioner, Internist, or Gastroenterologist to begin solving the mystery.

: You may try Miralax daily at noon. Do not take it if you had diarrhea in the morning. Miralax attracts water in the colon, leading to stool retaining more water. This increased stool volume makes it easier to pass stool.

: This depends upon what caused the elevation. Do you have a history of Gilbert's Syndrome where your indirect bilirubin tends to be high but may vary? Was the direct fraction of the bilirubin elevated from a gall stone that has been passed? Were all your liver enzymes high from infection,alcohol excess,medication side effect,fatty liver?  Are you taking Questran to lower lipids? To treat diarrhea?
