This depends upon what caused the elevation. Do you have a history of Gilbert's Syndrome where your indirect bilirubin tends to be high but may vary? Was the direct fraction of the bilirubin elevated from a gall stone that has been passed? Were all your liver enzymes high from infection,alcohol excess,medication side effect,fatty liver? Are you taking Questran to lower lipids? To treat diarrhea?
