Your simple activities of daily life need only for you to pay attention to your bodies cues. There are simple devices that assist your picking things up that drop so use them if you need them.

Fracture healing: On average, non-displaced fractures take about 12 weeks to heal, assuming you do not have any medical condition that would prolong healing, the fracture remains non-displaced, and you are following proper instructions for immobilization.  Age may prolong healing - and at times the discomfort may persist beyond the time that the X-ray shows the fracture to be fully healed.
