Exam: You would definitely want to be fully examined to rule out any associated ligamentous injury to the ankle or knee, which is fairly common with that fracture. If it is truly an "isolated" fracture, patients can gradually increase their weight bearing as tile rated and are usually doing well by about 6-8 weeks. Discuss your specific case with your doctor.
