i touched a dishwasher detergent pod to put it in the dishwasher. a few minutes later i itched the inside of my nose slightly. could this be dangerous?

No worries: In the US, regulations and laws require potentially dangerous consumer products to be labeled as poisonous or toxic. Without such labeling, for most labeled products, you can assume contact isn't very risky. While you wouldn't want to swallow a large amount of detergent, contact with small amounts like this -- anywhere on your body -- is not likely to be harmful.

if youve eaten dishwasher and laundry powder as well as dryer sheets for years what could happen?

PICA: Consumption of detergent powders can cause kidney damage and ultimately cause the kidneys to fail. Dryer sheets are less problematic, other than bowel obstruction, since the wax on them is non toxic. See a therapist that can help with tools to combat what is called PICA (obsessive consumption of non edible substances)

: Neither the steam(water) or any soap that may accompany it are considered toxic.

please tell me if you can put invisalign in the dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not: Do not wash invisalign in the dishwasher.  Here are the reasons: 
1) the aligners are very thin, and can easily work or melt at higher temperature. 
2) the aligners are so light also, and the pressure from water will displace the aligner(s). You may end up finding them damaged or broken by dishwasher's moving parts.
While you are brushing/flossing, soak in denture-cleaning solution to clean them.

how to  stop   pinch nerve  but i'm dishwasher .i don't want to quit the job.?

Accepted Answer

Mostly nonop: Time, rest, activity restriction, medication including over the counter ones, physical rherapy, epidural steroid injections, chiropractic, guided  exercise - some or most in combination with 90% resolving without surgery.  Lifestyle changes may be needed in terms of weight control, exercise and not smoking.  As long as you can tolerate your job there is no reason to stop working.

Call company: In general plastic is not good for the body, but you should call the dishwasher company please.

when a food in a jar got bad (rotten or got mold on it) i throw the food rinse the jar and wash it in dishwasher. is it ok?

Accepted Answer

: Once the rotten food is removed and the jar is sanitized it should be ok to use. If overly concerned you can sterilize it in a pot of boiling water.

drank from a glass that appears to have mold dots on it. ran through dishwasher multiple times but black dots stayed. should i be concerned?

No: I would not worry about the mold as should cause no problems

is it ok to clean a clear retainer for denture cleaning in dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

No problem: I don't see any problem with putting your retainer in a dishwasher, it will not damage the structure.
Will it remove all stains? I don't know the degree of stains or calcium retained in the acrylic part of your retainer. You can also use a denture cleaning solution or desolving tabs. Sold over the counter.

No: That will not harm your pregnancy.
