Disc bulge: Intervertebral discs are soft structures between the bony vertebrae of the spinal column that function as 'shock absorbers'.   They care referred to as bulging, herniated, slipped, etc. when they become malpositioned due to age or trauma.  These discs may press on nerves as they live the spinal canal, creating pain and weakness.  Practicing good ergonomics and core strengthening is important.

Anti-inflammatory: Early treatment options include a short course of nsaids (advil, aleve), gentle massage, moist heat, and focusing on posture.  If you still have pain see your physician as there are many other non-srugical treatment options.

Well: Multi-modal therapy is usually best trying to hit multiple receptors. Lyrica (pregabalin) is primary to control the radiating pain that goes down the arm. If this is still present, Gabapentin can be tried and dosed up as needed. Other meds for chronic pain such as cymbalta, ultram, Amitriptyline can be added. Try to stay away from narcotics, its a slippery slope. If you don't have one, get a referral to a pain.

Cervical disc: It is unlikely that a bulging disc will cause your symptoms. It may cause muscle spasms of the neck muscles, which cause pain along with any nerve that is being pinched by the bulging disc. Pain can cause lightheadedness or even dizziness if it is severe. Please get evaluated by a physician.

Probably : Choose a chiropractor carefully...one with gentle and trusted techniques and an excellent reputation. Avoid one that focuses on rapid and forceful manipulations of the neck/cervical spine.

Investigate chymopap: Years ago chymopapaine, basically a meat tenderizer, was used for herniated disks.  Investigate on internet to see if still an accepted treatment.

No: bulging discs are related to miscle spasm.  Dizziness is not typically associated with this. Check your meds to ensure this is not a side effect.

Not your disc: If the symptoms you describe are on the same side of your face you should see a neurologist. A herniated disc would not be the cause of this. A trigeminal nerve disorder could be the cause.

NO question: This can cause the symptoms you ask about. You need to see your doctor for more advice in this regard. Make sure it is only mild and does not need surgery. Many times surgery can be avoided.
