Hard to say: There are no consistent standards for the size of a normal thyroid on ultrasound, as there is a lot of variation in how one measures the size.  Nevertheless the length of your thyroid is somewhat larger than most people.  The volume is more important, but this is hard to estimate from simple dimensions. Overall size is not important, function is (tsh, free t4).

: The reference ranges for your serum labs are needed before the numbers can be interpreted. I would speak with the doc who ordered the testing in the first place.

: Using fingers or hand?  If latter have someone check it out. Not normal. Other wise probably normal variation. You could ask all of your friends if you can feel their necks until you get an idea of what is normal on folks like you who live on Cyprus.  Or have a Dr on Cyprus check you out.

: It means your thyroid gland looks the same and healthy on both sides.  But if you have a history of thyroid nodules, thyroid disease, or thyroid cancer, you absolutely should continue to follow up with your doctor.

: The lesion is more consistent with a thyroid cyst than a parathyroid adenoma due to the lack of blood flow. If the PTH level has been high for 2 years so I wonder why calcium is normal.

Need further tests: Thyroid nodules can be benign or cancerous. You need to have a fine needle aspiration of the nodules to make sure that they are benign. Only about 5% of thyroid nodules are cancer but you need the aspiration to prove that yours are benign.

Recommend biopsy: Although there are characteristic finding on us that help up get an idea of what type of nodule it is. The gold standard for diagnosis is a us guided needle biopsy. It is relatively non invasive and has good accuracy.

FNA not essential : As the nodule is less than 1 cm . FNA biopsy is not essential in most cases. But if any risk factors like history of radiation to head or neck or family history of thyroid cancer then need to follow up more closely by ultrasound and may also consider FNA biopsy
