Hard to say: There are no consistent standards for the size of a normal thyroid on ultrasound, as there is a lot of variation in how one measures the size. Nevertheless the length of your thyroid is somewhat larger than most people. The volume is more important, but this is hard to estimate from simple dimensions. Overall size is not important, function is (tsh, free t4).
