Pharmacokinetics: CArdizem CD basically is long acting. Typically this form is to be taken once/day as it is supposed to give you coverage for 24 hours. The other one, by "we" I think you mean short-acting Cardizem (typically comes in 30 mg and 60 mg tablets), is short-acting, and faster acting, but out of systems usually within 6 hrs, so in some cases can be give three or 4 times/day.  Active ingredient same.

It is well tolerated and very infrequently has to be discontinued due to excessive lowering of blood pressure or severe slowing of the heart rate. Any other side effects are unusual and I'm confident you'll not feel differently taking it. Your dose is low.
