Need a more info: Your symptoms are too vague to determine what could be wrong.  I would suggest seeing a specialist so that a proper examination may be conducted.  Although you have mentioned many issues that you are not experiencing, there are still several causes that could result in dorsal foot pain while walking.

Depnds: A corn is usually a pressure phenomena.  So sometimes in simple cases, simply modifying your shoe wear can help, or even the use of an orthotic.  In severe cases, a corn can indicate a structural problem in the foot that may even need surgery.  Consider being seen.  Thank you for your question.

when i wake up or get up after resting my foot is super painful when i first walk. all seems to stem from the heel through the foot. after walking around on it maybe 30 steps pain is gone and it feels good.
any ideas?

See a doc.: The most common cause of heel pain is plantar fasciitis. Which hurts more in the morning.  Osteoarthritis also hurts more in the morning.  See your doc to sort it out and tell you the best way to treat it.  See this page for stretches to do in the meantime:

At any rate, if this is an absolutely brand new set of symptoms which have never been discussed with a doctor then, you've now figured out the time to go...NOW.....some blood work will help and then, appropriate medication
