It sounds like it..: Being 88, you have done a dawn good job already! 10 reps of 6 different exercises to start is quite a bit for an 88 years-young person and feeling achy/sore the next day is certainly expected. I would take it easy for 2-3 days, then go back but do less and add some stretching exercises. The pain should ease and u can increase reps slowly with time. Great job! good luck.

Light weights: Use light weights - as low as 1 lb., build over weeks to max 10 lbs. Do 10 "reps"  (1 set) of wrist flexion -palm up, relaxed, curl your hand closed continuing as far toward the crook of your elbow as possible. Do to count of a slow 1, 2, 3 with 1, 2, 3 for reverse movement. Rest between sets for 3 sets.  Palm down, gripping weight, bend wrist again toward crook of elbow  for 3 sets of 10 .Reps.

In the mean time you may take Vitamin D3 supplement. Take 5000 units/day for the next three months to see if that helps.

Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Decreasing 500cal/day will give you a 1lb wt loss in 1wk; drink water (1/2 your body weight), eat small meals about 150-200cal 2-4x/(depending on your metabolism rate) and 500cal/meal at night: lean protein/veggies; avoid carbs, .

is the risk of catching covid different indoors than out? i wear a mask & try vry hard to maintain social distance, but i would like to walk in my neighborhood for exercise & other neighbors don't seem to be masking up or maintaining proper distance.

COVID 19: Being outdoors is safer in general, as compared to being indoors. The “Three C’s” to avoid:  Closed spaces with poor ventilation. Crowded places with many people nearby. Close-contact settings, such as close-range conversation. I would continue to wear your mask. I am in a location where I can get outdoor exercise because it wide open &amp; frankly no one is making close contact.
