Location: Typically, gallbladder pain is in the upper abdomen (middle to right side), and radiates to the back. Crampy, comes and goes, onset 30' or so after eating. Appendicitis is in the belly button, then migrates to the right lower abdomen. It is progressive and unrelenting. Hope this helps!

You may at some time: No, removing the gall bladder does not cause appendicitis.  Conversely, having the gall bladder removed, does not prevent appendicitis.  The cause of each disease is not related to the other.  You may get appendicitis in the future even if your gallbladder was removed.

Adhesions: One possibility is adhesions - where the organs stick to the abdominal lining or each other. That can happen after surgery. Inflammatory bowel disease is another reason. Women can also have endometriosis with tissue that normally lines the uterus is growing elsewhere in the abdomen. Your doctor can help you find the answer.

Neither: Vomiting a black substancde is usually the sign of blood in the stomach or hematemesis.  Both gall bladder disease and appendicitis can cause nausea, but not usually hematemesis.  This person should be seen by their physician or seen in an er.

It : It is important to know if you still have your ovaries, which sometimes are taken out or sometimes are left in with a hysterectomy.  I am glad to know though that your ultrasound and ct scan were normal.  Be sure you are using plenty of lubrication during intercourse.  Be sure you have had a complete pelvic exam and that your pap smear is up to date.  If your symptoms persist please see your gynecologist for another evaluation.

Different organs: Pancreas is an organ behind the stomach & has 2 main functions - releases enzymes into the small intestine for digestion & releases Insulin into the blood stream for blood sugar management. Gallbladder is under the liver, connected to the bile duct & squeezes extra bile into the small intestine for digestion. Can easily live without a gallbladder, not so with the very important pancreas.

As loaded barrel: Gall bladder contracts and empties the bile with fatty meal , physiological distended gb is filled to the capacity , ready to empty after meal results in partially distended half filled gb.  Distends in disease also as stone blocks cystic duct ( hydrops ) or tumor in head of pancreas.
