Diet: It depends. It's not fasting for sure! you will need to work with a dietitian to get one established for you. If you are overweight, it is one, if you are normal weight person, it is different. There are many ada diets but again, each one needs to be individually tailored to your needs.

Amount matters: The more important issue with gastroparesis is to eat small portions. Certainly difficult to digest foods can cause problems as well as foods that promote gerd such as chocolate, caffein, alcohol and citrus/acid foods. Those should be avoided.
