Well...: Cardiac arrest means your heart stopped, so if you are typing and breathing, probably not. If you are wondering about a heart attack (myocardial infarction) the emergency room can run several tests, in the context of other tests, can confirm if chest pain is heart related.

Heart attack: Cardiac arrest is when your heart stops. A heart attack is when part of your heart is not getting enough blood flow.  A heart attack can certainly trigger a cardiac arrest.  Sometimes that is the first and only symptom a person with coronary artery disease will have.

: We consider 10%  significant.  More info about the PVC's would be helpful. Are they singles, couplets,runs,multiform, early after the T wave? Does your 12 lead EKG show a prolonged QTc interval? Do you have a family history of sudden death,fainting episodes? Have you had a treadmill stress test?  Are the PVC's symptomatic? Structurally normal heart is reassuring. Symptoms of cardiac: arrest are rapid heart beats, dizziness and loss of consciousness. Not what you are describing. Sounds like you are having a sugar high. Chest pain, tingles and spasms sounds like anxiety. For reassurance you should see a health care provider and have testing to exclude cardiac issues. Then you need to make better life style choices.

: You have focused on something wrong and allowed fear to accentuate a vicious cycle. You should relax and not be afraid, and if you use any kind of stimulants including in soda stop it. Fear drives the abnormality of heart rhythm and limit stimulation may help you as well.

: It sounds to me like the testing has made the diagnosis of you being worried about cardiac arrest or heart failure with out good cause, but I have not had the benefit of seeing/talking to you.  Work with your local team to take steps to treat this cardiac anxiety.  I do not know what 2% burden means in Seattle.  I assume you have tried stopping various things that cause PVCs. If not try that.

Possibilities....: These types of cases are often related to anesthesia complications. Not sure about the exact case you are referring to but, thankfully, this is an uncommon complication of surgery. When it does happen, it is usually due to an anesthesia complication.

Heart abnormality: Sudden cardiac death in young athletes is rare,  and it is always a tragedy when it occurs.  Most of the time this is due to an underlying heart problem that was not known about.
