i am curious what the definite symptoms of a heart attack are. i have done heart tests before and my heart is in great shape. would just like to know.

Symptoms   of a: heart attack mainly  consist of chest pain, substernally or  left side of the chest. The pain may radiate to the neck and  left upper arm. Typically,  the pressure in the chest is  described like   some one were sitting on your chest.   One can   have sweating, nausea or  shortness of breath.  The EKG  and blood tests called troponin  are the best laboratory  tests to confirm it.

tried light jogging this am and when i stopped i was nauseous and crazy out of breath. am i out of shape or can it be something else? heart tests good

Out of shape: Your descriiption is entirely consistent with someone who is out of shape. Try starting off with easy light activity and gradually build up over several weeks to months.

If this is the case with you, it can be treated with anticonvulsants. Consult a neurologist.

Even if you don't mind paying double premiums or higher, your neighbors may not agree with you. Thus, just pay out of pocket for "medically unnecessary" tests, and do not expect any coverage.

Palpitation....: Often times when we r resting or sleeping, other distractions are not there and hence aware of our heart beat and/or PACs. Then again, there may be heart racing present that u r feeling. U state u take ventolin that can cause palpitations. See an MD and correlate your sxs with holter monitor if needed

Yes: If your doctor recommends it there must be a reason for it. It is painless and similar to an ultrasound. Go for it!
