Diabetes: Diabesity is basically the range of problem starting from   obesity leading to insulin resistance and people developing metabolic syndrome ( pre diabetes with raised cholesterol ) and finally diabetes.  Studies have shown that these conditions share similar underlying causes and can be seen as progression from one stage to next so this is real ,they require the same treatment and are preventable.

Diarrhea: Stay on a bland diet, nothing greasy or fried. Stay off of diary products for a few days. Your diarrhea should clear up in5-7 days.

See Peds Dr: Too many options: food choice; food allergy; other allergy; virus or other infectious; depending on age-could be congenital issue; stress/anxiety; etc., etc. Best to start w/child's pediatrician for good history & exam +/- basic tests.

Managing diabetes: I tell  patients that diabetes does not leave you alone so they should not.. The american diabetes association has a well respected guidelines for managing diabetes. The person with diabetes needs  to adopt teh appropriate lifestyle changes and work with a care team comprised of the primary care physician, dietician, podiatrist and ophthalmologist to start.

Depends: It is ok to eat food after the sell by date but use common sense if you see abnormal growth or smell do not eat it.  Cooking is always a safe option also.  It is ok to eat fruits and vegtable with a little brown stuff on the edges.

You need to talk: Be open and honest with your guy about your feelings, your thoughts, and your expectations out of a relationship. Ask questions.  You might be assuming things. Let him know you would feel more comfortable/more desirable/etc if he planned more dates for you.  Honesty and communication is a critical part of making a relationship last.  Maybe you never had that talk and so that's why they didn't plan.

Exam!: The CDC defines diarrhea which lasts for more than 2-4 weeks as being persistent or chronic. In an otherwise healthy person  chronic diarrhea can turn out to be a nuisance at best or it can become a very serious health issue. This may be life threatening in someone with a weak immune system.
