Steroid rashes: Long term steroid on skin can cause several problems. The most serious is thinning of the skin like a stretch mark. Another common problem is "steroid acne". Without knowing why you started using this cream it is hard to give a proper answer. The best thing to do is to see a dermatologist to determine the type for reaction you are having and proper treatment for that and original problem.

Second opinion: I routinely recommend discontinuing ineffective treatment.  If you are having trouble with discontinuing and have underlying skin issues that could benefit from another cream, then a trusted dermatologist should be able to help.  If you need a referral, ask people you know for the name of a dermatologist who will spend the time to discuss and explain their diagnosis/treatment/outcome expected.

Moisturizer: I am a strong advocate on using non-scented soap and moisturizer after( preferably daily) bathing. Have you tried these?  As for the cream, the former two are cortisone the clotrimazole is for fungal infection- they are totally different.  See a dermatologist if the above measures did not work for you.

Dermovate cream: As long as its used for a brief amount of time  - no more than 5 days at a time  and away from the mouth you should be fine.   The problem is -  unless you have been previously diagnosed  -  you can't  be certain what you are treating.    Proceed with caution

No: I'm sorry you ended up with scars because your acne was not properly managed. A dermatologist can make these less visible with fillers, dermabrasion, microsurgery or laser treatment. Nothing you can use at home will help.

Diet: everything in moderation. It you are healthy and no cholesterol problems you should be fine indulging once in a while. But you have to be active and eating healthy the rest of the times.
