Call or speak to a friend or family member to help bring you back to reality. In addition, find a therapist and start talking about these lapses of connection to reality and figure out what is leading to these episodes.

Detachment: is common to both conditions.   In the former, one feels that he is an outside observer of his surroundings--things look unreal, foggy, dreamlike.   In the latter the observer feels the same way, only the focus is on his own internal experiences like mental processes, feelings/thoughts, imagery, physical numbing. etc.   These two are a bit confusing...

Typical of anxiety: People are sometimes most afraid when there is no objective threat.  If your experiences as you've described them stem from an anxiety disorder, the disorder itself is the problem and not something else--like a disease. A panic attack can include physical and psychological symptoms that can be terrifying (even though there is no real danger). Treatment is often very helpful. Keep practicing!

blurred vision type dizziness and derealzation doc said labyrinthitis but the antibiotics didn't work and i can't take steroids could this is fatal?

Labyrinthitis: This is often viral and self-limiting with complete recovery. You might try using a decongestant like pseudoephedrine or oxymetozaline nasal spray and also use saline rinses with  a Neti-pot. Hope this clears up soon. Definitely not fatal.

what causes derealization and depersonalization?

Many conditions : Depersonalization and derealization  can be because of panic disorder. There's a condition called primary depersonalization disorder as well. Temporal lobe epilepsy can also cause these conditions. Any of dissociative disorders can certainly have derealization and depersonalization is a component. We do not know the underlying physiology of this condition however. Certain hallucinogens such as lsd, pcp, and certain mushrooms, have also been known to cause both of these conditions as has high-dose marijuana over a prolonged period of time. I have seen one case of Hydroxyzine overdose prolonged depersonalization. Withdrawal from certain substances of abuse can also cause depersonalization and derealization. It is not at all unusual for someone to experience derealization and occasional depersonalization as part of development through adolescence.
