Probably not: Inflammatory/infective dental problems, such as gum disease, and the traumatic problem of a broken tooth, do not cause loss of muscle mass. That can be due to poor diet, improper supplements, systemic diseases/conditions. You need a full physical work-up by an internist. You need to assure optimum oral health. Perhaps a Periodontist can help. Evaluation by a nutritionist also advisable.

Brushing and flossin: Brushing and flossing will reduce oral  bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease.  Diet low in sugars and acids to protect the teeth. Regular dental care to treat the decay.  It needs to be removed and the teeth restored.

is it true that with bone grafting, all-on-four and etc, mostly anyone can get dental implants even if they lost teeth from gum disease?

Limitations: There are limitations to all treatments.  For example, you can get periodontal disease around implants.  Please see your Dentist for an evaluation as to whether implants and crowns or implant supported dentures would be applicable for your situation.  Your Dentist may recommend teaming with an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist, or may recommend that you see a Prosthodontist.  Go for exam and advice.

The : The best answers you can get to this issue will be from your cardiologist and your cardiac surgeon.  They will have all the information regarding the condition of your heart and the heart valves, which can be particularly susceptible to infection from dental work.  Gum surgery can cause bacteria to enter your bloodstream.  The bacteria can then lodge on abnormal heart valves or in areas that have been recently operated on.  Your dentist or oral surgeon can give you the best advice regarding the risk of bloodstream contamination from your gum surgery.  All three of these health professionals should be involved in determining the best course.  This may mean waiting for a time after bypass surgery to have your gum disease addressed, or your gum disease may need to be addressed first.  It all depends on the specifics of your individual case. - how urgent yous bypass surgery is and how severe your gum disease is.

Get a dental exam: Bleeding gums are often the first sign of gingivitis.  Brushing too hard can also cause bleeding. Cigarettes and other tobacco products also may be causative. You need a dental exam as soon as possible.

Not directly, but..: Tooth brushing is absolutely your first line of defense against gum disease.  But people who brush their gums "too hard" can actually cause great harm.  Being too rough on your gums can lead to recession.  When gums recede, the roots of the teeth and surrounding bone are susceptible to further bacterial attack.  That- is clinical gum disease.  So brush properly and gently and don't forget to floss.

Possibly: But you may have other issues such as gerd and black teeth can be caused by many other factors such as tobacco usage, medications, vitamins, mouth-rinses, etc.   See a dentist or oral surgeon to evalulte clinically.
