Yes...: Drinking too much of any liquid is a risk of causing reflux.  Caffeine, often present in tea is an additional risk factor for reflux.  Drink decaffeinated tea slower and in smaller quantities and you might not have as much reflux.  If reflux is a recurrent problem then go see your doctor.

DGL is used to: help with acid reflux and is safe.  It is a licorice product found in health food stores.  If you take licorice that is not DGL, over time it can raise your blood pressure.  Please consult w/your doc.  Peace and good health. Decaf is often made using chemicals that are not good for you.

None: Really reflux?: You are assuming you have reflux.  Our brain can't tell the difference in painful signals from heart, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, liver, pancreas, bile ducts of liver, or gallbladder.  So 'acid reflux' could be illnesses of any of those.  A good dr. Will ask questions: what brings it on, makes it worse/better, how long it lasts, associated problems.  See dr. & get proper diagnosis/treatment!

Acid reflux per se: is not detrimental and is treatable..HOWEVER an evaluation by a Gastroenterologist is probably a good idea since some esophageal; disorders need special attention (eg "Barrett's esophogas")

Reflux: Are you having increased symptoms? 
Some foods can cause increased symptoms, but some people may tolerate known irritants better than others. Know your limits and irritants. If your physician recommend that you avoid those foods, then try to follow that advice.
