i've been on cyklokapron pills drinking 3 pills 3 times a day and this is my 3rd day but i am still on my heavy periods. i've been on my periods for 21 days straight and suffer from amaenia. weak, light headed and shortness of breath?

Call Dr: This drug is usually effective for heavy vaginal bleeding but if not working &amp; anemia worsening your Dr may want to try a hormone therapy to stop it or even schedule a D&amp;C procedure.  If you have not been checked for bleeding disorders, thyroid problems, &amp; cancer as causes of heavy bleeding you need to be checked for those also

Multiple things: Could be a problem with skin, nerves, muscle, shoulder, lung, heart, or stomach. See your doctor for a more thorough history, physical exam and further evaluation. If you sleep on your stomach you could have a neck strain that radiates pain to the chest or arm. Get checked out just to make sure.

can abilify (aripiprazole) (15 mg/day) cause shortness of breath. on it for mood disorder for the past 16 days. was upped to 15 mg a week ago.

Unlikely, but possib: It isn't really a known side effect, and it is hard to see how it might do that. But it is possible that it is an unusual manifestation of a known side effect. The details would tell.  So speak to the prescribing doctor.

DVT with PE?: Sudden onset of chest pain and shortness ob breath in a patient with P.vera raises the possibility of DVT and Pulmonary embolism. To be safe, go to the ER for evaluation.

Doctor can evaluate: Shortness of breath in a college-aged adult means different things in different people. If slight or mild, an in-person or online consultation may figure out the problem. If more than mild or if worried, avoid online consultations because an in-person exam will be needed. It is uncommon for 2 doses of typical birth control pills to cause such symptoms, so a patient need her doctor to solve this.

Yes, it can: Anxiety can cause many physical symptoms, including feelings of shortness of breath.  I'm glad your pulmonary function tests were normal.  Hopefully you're working with your family physician to evaluate your overall health. A psychiatrist and/or psychologist who can provide cognitive behavioral therapy may be helpful to you in dealing with your symptoms.  Sometimes meds like Buspar (buspirone) can help too.

is there a condition that causes a high sedentary heart rate 90-110bpm 8-10 hours a day and sleep rate 60-70bpm.   because of the high sedentary rate im loosing weight and inflamed hscrp 18 >6 months.
no pain or shortness of breath with exercise.

See below: Your numbers (heart rate) are within normal limits- Trained athletes can have much lower resting heart rates - I urge you to not worry about your heart rate - and congratulate you on your attempt to loose weight and become less sedentary - It takes time but is worth the effort in terms of health benefits - reducing chance of diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer - Good luck

This needs: evaluation by your Primary Care Provider who can obtain an EKG  which may give the answer or if necessary a continuous MONITOR (HOLTER) may be necessary. Palpitations with SHORTNESS OF BREATH NEED EVALUATION ASAP!  Hope this helps!
