Solar lentigos: Lighter-skinned folks who get a fair amount of sunlight get spots on the shoulders, and often elsewhere, often by the time they're young adults. Where I live, they're prized as showing that a person's been active as an outdoors person / athlete. You'll do well to wear sunscreen like everybody should. Have somebody keep an eye for any that look suspicious for malignancy. They're healthy &amp; look fine

Hard to say...: There are a variety of things that can cause freckles/pigmentation to appear on the skin such as certain medications, sun exposure, genetic predisposition, etc. I would highly recommend visiting with a Board Certified Dermatologist in order to determine what's causing your freckles to appear and what you can do about treating them.

If your birth mark: has never been checked by a dermatologist and you are getting new or different moles, it is a good idea to have a skin check by a dermatologist. At your age, they will probably find that everything is OK, and recommend that you visit them periodically, but it's best to check.

See a dermatologist: I recommend going to see a dermatologist since I am not there to actually see it. The abcdes of melanoma are:a=asymmetry(one half unlike the other half), b=border (irregular, scalloped, poorly defined border), c=color (varied from one are to another), d=diameter (while melanomas are usually greater than 6mm they can be smaller when diagnosed), e=evolving(change in size, shape, color).See a dermatologist.

See a dermatologist: Begin with a diagnosis.  If it is benign, ask a trusted friend if it is ugly or not before you plunge into any expensive treatment.

Freckle: Most likely the spot is of a vascular origin. But if it hurts, it is either due to a recent injury or  bite or something that might be of a systemic etiology like a septic embolism . You should see your doctor or a dermatologist to have the spot evaluated. It is easier to make a diagnosis if the lesion is fresh rather than waiting weeks before you have it seen.

No..perhaps you sent: a picture of this pigmented spot, but it is not here as I read and answer your question:)  You don't really say where this "freckle" is....that doesn't matter too much anyway. Frequently it seems something "appears overnight" but often it has been there and we just haven't noticed it before. Concerns include if it is enlarging, if border is irregular, how dark it is. Safe to watch for a few weeks.

Dark circles: Dark circles under the eyes are known as allergic shiners and vitamink will not cure the condition. See your doctor or an allergist for help.

my husband has a dark spot in right eye. looks like a freckle. it just appeared, with vertigo & blurred vision. can an optometrist tell what this is?

Possibly: In this situation I would personally see an ophthalmologist instead.
