Osseointegration is a process of bone cell migration, adhesion, differentiation, and maturation to establish good bone support around an implant.   Soft tissue heals in 14 days, cross linked in 28 days.  Hard tissue heals in 4 o 6 months.

Generally, implants are placed on visit #1; time required for integration = 3 to 6 months; implants uncovered and restored =2 to 3 weeks.  If bone grafting or other issues, more time may be required.
