Maybe: Aspirin causes platelet dysfunction and may lead to brain bleed but mostly in some type of trauma.

i bumped heads with my dog and am on two baby aspirin a day. should i be concerned about a brain bleed? i did not lose consciousness or throw up.

Unlikely problem: The brain is well protected and it is unlikely bumping your head against your dog would lead to hemorrhage in the head.

: Aspirin raises the risk of various kinds of bleeding, but uncommon with daily low doses. When it occurs, gastrointestinal bleeding is the more common risk, not brain. In many people, the benefit of daily aspirin (primarily in preventing heart attack and stroke) outweighs the risk of bleeding, but this is controversial and recommendations have been changing. Stay tuned.

Aspirin/coiling: Ask your neurointerventionalist to be certain, but that long after coiling the aneurysm is probably not still a concern for bleeding.  It is generally felt that low dose Aspirin is not related to increased bleeding risk and provides significant benefit in terms of heart attack and stroke prevention.

12/30/21 i had a left brain stroke with brain bleed. it was arterial in source. healing slowly. having daily headaches. how long will headaches last? is this normal?

: If the hemorrhage occurred within the brain substance, headache usually resolve after days. Persistent headaches after a week or so could be tension type. If the hemorrhage was subarachnoid, such as occurs in a berry aneurysm, eventual chronic intracranial hypertension can occur as a complication &amp; can cause chronic headache. Have you had a follow-up ct scan or MRI to investigate these headaches?

: If you're experiencing other bleeding such as very easy bruising,nose bleeds,gum bleeding, then you may have coagulation disorder &amp; need to consult a hematologist.  Otherwise your type of symptom is best evaluated by a careful examination by your dentist, and if no dental explanation is found,then a thorough examination by an ENT specialist or oral surgeon should be performed next.

brain bleed: This really depends on where it is and what the findings on exam are. Treatment may be conservative medical or surgical.

is a brain bleed considered a stroke?

Accepted Answer

: Assuming the bleeding is within the brain (and not outside the brain within the skull), then, yes, this is considered a hemorrhagic stroke. If a stroke is due to a blood clot of a blood vessel going to the brain, this is called a thrombotic stroke. Best of luck to you!

Yes and no: Usually drs order scans to see the brain when pts. Have symptoms. Ir  bleeding is present it may correlate with  headaches, dizziness, paralysis or any symptom. Bleeding may worsen causing death if not tx. Small bleeding may dissolve by itself.
