I am not familiar: With your medications but cort usually indicates cortisone. If you have a fungus an antifungal is more appropriate and if you have an infection then an antibiotic is more appropriate. Cortisone is not indicated in either condition. (Assuming the medication you speak of is cortisone).

Nail Fungus : There are many fungi that grow in toenails. These are generally hard to cure. Treatment range from topical to ingested medicines to laser lights to burn them. Typically the nails grow slowly so yours will likely grow back. See either your doc or a podiatrist for treatment.

May be...: The pattern of your using steroid anti-fungal cream hints significant recurrent foreskin-related infection/inflammation. If so, circumcision is the choice of long-term care. As to penile shrinking, it unlikely happens in your situation. So, see doc timely to verify the fact so to figure out how to ease your such concern.

Not by itself: Anti fungals of any type will only help if the infection is fungal.  Even then that would only be part of the answer.   The ingrown nail must still be removed and an environment  condusive to healing must be developed at the site.

No.: Diprosone (betamethasone dipropionate) is a corticosteroid anti-inflammatory cream; it will make a fungal infection worse. Fungal infections of the scalp usually require an oral antifungal, because creams & lotions can't penetrate the hair follicles where the fungus is located.

both toenails removed last week. the fungal infected one burns when i soak it in warm water and epsom salt after a couple minutes. thats the only time it hurts. what can i do? theres no swelling or pus. can i stop soaking it and be fine?

: After I remove complete or partial toenails, I tell my patients to keep the pressure bandage on for 24 hours and replaced the wrap with fresh bandage and antibiotic ointment. Typically there is no damage to the nailbed unless you opt to cauterize the matrix to stop nail regrowth. They also receive a hard shoe to limit the toe from flexing which causes pain. I do not instruct to keep foot baths

: This is unlikely but something you can find out by listing all your issues with a timeline &amp; taking that list in for an evaluation. If fungus gets in your blood you are likely dead within days. On the body surface it would have physical findings. Yeast is normal in your gut. You may have a chronic illness but the what &amp; why requires an evaluation &amp; likely testing.
