Difficult to say: There is not enough information. For example, are you pregnant? How far along? Was ultrasound performed after birth? It is not unusual to see a neuropore during first weeks of gestation.

Cysts: cysts this size warrant a consultation with a gynecologist.  While they may very well be benign tumors, cancer must be ruled out as well.

Hair loss : What you are describing is incredibly common.  You see, your hair normally grows out of sync. However, after a major stressor like having a baby, your hair can begin to grow in sync. When that happens, it looks like you are losing your hair. This condition can take 6-9 months for the hair to reset itself and start growing out of sync again.

m 23 weeks pregnant. in my usg scan doc found choroid plexus cyst measuring 4 to 7 mm in baby head.is it dangerous for my baby after birth mentally?

Probably not: Choroid plexus cysts are not necessarily abnormal, and they usually disappear by the third trimester (you are still in your second trimester).  1-2% of people have them after birth (and they're harmless in this case).  If your doctor finds other abnormalities though, you should have some genetic testing done on the baby.

8month old baby has a small raised bump on his scalp on the bottom of his head for about 1 month.dr took skin sample to check for bacterial/fungal.says it looks skin irritation but if clear than to do an ultrasound.i'm nervous it could be cyst?

: Not having seen him it is hard to be of much help. Our kids used to get what was called Cradle cap. I always called in Cradle crap.  ;-).  I would not see good reason to do an ultrasouind but then have not seen him. Good luck. Let your Dr be the guide is my advice.

What kind of cyst: Cyst means fluid filled and occur cyclically when not pregnant. A corpus luteum cyst supports an early pregnancy until about 10 weeks when the placenta takes over. Discuss the cyst with your doc-usually will present no problems during the pregnancy or to baby if the cyst is small (less 5 cm)

Mucous cyst are : Common. They are painless and tend to be annoying than harmful. They can be on the lips, gums, tongue, palate, inside of the cheeks or floor of the mouth( called ranula) they will eventually burst without intervention.Ranular cyst may need surgical intervention if it is affecting feedings

: Hair can grow over a cyst. It is not feasible to provide an opinion without examining the child. It does not seem to be an urgent issue and you could address it with the pediatrician at the next visit.
Make sure to get all the vaccinations for the child.

This can co-exist: A normal pregnacy and a molar pregnacy or cells can coexist.

Yes: They're quite common, and are usually tricholemmal cysts.  They occur on the scalp, and are frequently multiple.  They're not harmful, but can be annoying.  They can usually be removed pretty easily in a doctor's office.
