Infection: Apply antibiotic ointment under a bandaid.  If the area gets red or tender, please see your doctor.

i have a large infected painful cyst on back. am already taking a prescription for it. will it get irritated worse from pressure on it for example sitting in a vehicle with it against a back rest?

Drainage: Most infected cysts or abcesses need to be drained in order to get well. It is common to start antibiotics before doing an incision and drainage but antibiotics seldom work alone. After drainage a bandage can be applied and the pressure from sitting in a car should not be a problem. Hope this helps and you feel better fast.

Cyst: Renew the rx for clindamycin. Cyst removal will be easier, less bloody, less likely to get post-op infection, and be successful if you let it calm down.

In 6 wks: Most of the time healing will be complete in  3wks , in clean uninfected surgery any where in the body , foot surgery needs additional time should be able to do all activities in 6wks , speak to your surgeon

: Calf pain (cramping) with activity. A common cause are depleted electrolytes. Have your electrolytes levels been checked with a blood draw.  Daily drinking of drinks like Gatorade might help cramping.

Usually not Bad: Depending on the  size of the cyst it is usually not very painful. The procedure can be done in the office under local if it is small.

See your MD: Make sure hat what kind of lesion it is. It can be a boil , cyst from sweat gland, or deposit of a fat tissue etc. so see your MD and find out right diagnosis and treatment will be  accordingly

Depends: If it's not bothering you, you may need to do nothing. If it starts to bother you, it will need to be drained and/or removed. The urgency of removing it depends on they type of cyst it is and whether it is infected or not. See your doc for more info on your options.
