Not necessarily rela (carisoprodol): A cyst in cerebellum does not necessarily corelate with vertigo. Cysts in cerebellum are generally asymptomatic and do not need any treatment. Try medications for vertigo in adequate dosage. Surgical options should be considered after extremely careful confidence that cause of vertigo is definitely cyst.

Depends: Every situation like this is unique.  It depends upon the exact type and position of the cyst.  Many cysts found on scans are not a cause for concern---in fact, many people have them and never are aware if it because they have no need for the scan in the first place!  the important thing is to talk to the doctor who ordered the scan about what is causing it and if there needs to be any concern.

Depends: If the cyst is causing pressure effects such as headaches, water on the brain, loss of balance or brainstem dysfunction, then the cyst should be drained or removed. If your cyst is not causing symptoms, simple observation may be all that's needed. Of course if the "cyst" is not truly a cyst but a cystic tumor, surgery is needed.

Ependymal cysts ? NO: You mean ependymal cysts , of neuroepithelial origin, contraceptives , did no show any stimulation or growth in neurofibromatosis   nf i , contraceptives has untoward effect with breast cancer, unlikely has any effect on ependymal cyst ( epidermoid cysts are under the skin ).

should a small archnoid cyst at the back of your brain be monitored ? my last mri scan was in 2020 i have symptoms of cerebellum dysfunction which was recently discovered by an eye speacialist . could a cyst near the cerebellum cause that?

: Any increase in intracranial lesion size may cause neurological symptoms.  See a neurologist for an exam and guidance, as further testing may be indicated.

: Based upon the provided information, there appears to be no rationale for current concern, as you describe congenital anatomical variants.  Over time, if neurological symptoms emerge and progress, then actions should be taken.  But at this time, am dismayed that this type of imaging was obtained based on infrequent complaints of dizziness in a normal child!

No: It is a benign process. Arachnoid cyst is just accumulation of fluid. If it is small and no mass effect which means it does not put pressure on brain or cerebellum, then it should not be blamed for any symptoms.

Formed long ago: The vast majority of brain cysts are congenital, meaning they formed when your brain was forming as an embryo and are innocent.  The benign brain cysts dont change over time and ar nothing to worry about.  Frequently found when you have a brain scan performed for an unrelated reason.
