No: It is a benign process. Arachnoid cyst is just accumulation of fluid. If it is small and no mass effect which means it does not put pressure on brain or cerebellum, then it should not be blamed for any symptoms.

Benign mass: It is a cyst made up of spinal fluid.Since it is pressing on the cerebellum it can cause problems with balance and fine coordinated movements.It should not cause behavior changes
