I would not: The saliva has antibacterial qualities that make any medication used that way unnecessary. At most I will apply some peroxide to bubble out any mucus debris but this turns to water after use &amp; does not leave a residual.

Probably  nothing: Cut on the oral mucosa probably come from sharp edges in food (green leafy vegetables, coarse grains) or from rough spots on teeth, braces, dental work or other sharp areas next to the oral mucosa.

Like dental related: If the "cuts" are on both sides in the same position, this is likely related to how your teeth orient themselves(occlusion) when you bite down.  Since you are a minor, you should bring this up with your parents and if it continues to be a problem engage your dentist with this question.

Mouth sores: Perhaps they are "canker sores" (aphthous ulcers), which are sometimes associated with citrus acidity or with trauma (from toothbrush or biting cheek). Swishing a mix of mouthwash, warm salt water (1 tsp in tumbler of water), and hydrogen peroxide may help (don't swallow). Orajel/anbesol can numb discomfort. Otc glyoxide also works. If worse, see doc.

Clean and protect it: The gums heal quickly if cleaned our well and covered
clean out the cuts with chlorhexadine , or mouthwash like listerine and cover with an ointment which protects the area from more trauma. Kenalog (triamcinolone) is good for that and allows faster healing.

Depends: Several factors contribute to whether this will heal without evaluation and suture. Depth of the laceration is the primary reason for suturing it shut. If more than 6 hours have past, you may not be able to be sutured shut in which case the doctor will specify a wound care regimen. If the split is because of an infection or cancer, it will not heal unless treated accordingly. Location also matters.
