Neck and back pain: If MRI negative, pain is likely due to soft tissue inflammation, or fascial restiction, try rest ice, and body work, like massage, chiro, or osteopathy

Very fast: Today's high speed scanners work very quickly.
This exam should take around 10 minutes at the most.

The IV: An IV is placed for ct scan with contrast.  This should be the only pain.  The exception might be if you are having a ct myelogram, where dye/contrast is injected directly into you spinal fluid.  This is not common.

Hemangiomas: are common incidental findings when imaging the spine.  They are benign, and generally of no concern.  Some radiologists don't bother mentioning them in their reports.  They are only a potential problem if they are very large(causing the vertebral body to be weaker and more prone to fracture) or expansile.  But that is very unusual, and highly unlikely if yours was only mentioned as "incidental"

Maybe: While there are not usually blood tests ordered, your dr. May want a serum creatinine to check your kidney function before you get the dye.  Talk to you dr.

so i was told after a ct scan that i have mold degenerative changes of the thoracic spine. what does this mean? do i need to go to the doctors for it if so what kind of doctor? im only 23

Primary care: Make sure you establish with a primary care physician so that a specialist can be consulted if needed. Definitely early for degenerative changes, even if mild, at age 23.

: All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,  a CT examination of the spine is warranted, as advised you your doctor.

Hemangioma...: hemangiomas are abnormal blood vessel collections. Whether or not they need to be treated depends on the exact location and size. The word "incidentally" means something else was being looked for but this was found. You need to follow up with the doctor who ordered the test and see what treatment, if any, is needed. Good luck!

i'm worry about the amount of radiations?

Minimal: MRI does not use x-ray radiation, but instead uses a magnetic field.  A single chest x-ray is very minimal.  A CT scan of the head will give you about 20 times as much radiation as a chest x-ray, but this is still felt to be less than the background radiation you receive in 1 year just from being outdoors.  It's good for you to limit your radiation exposure,but yours is minimal, I wouldn't worry
