Gum disease: Bacteria that cause gum disease give off certain odor or smells. I would get an evaluation from a periodontist to check you for gum disease. The longer you wait the worse these problems get.

Possible UTI: Given you gender and age, this could represent a urinary tract infection (UTI), which is usually associated with urinary frequency and burning.  In addition, the ammonia smell of the urine could represent breakdown of urea in the urine to ammonia.  You should see a physician to have a urine sample taken for examination and culture.

Phantosmia: There are sinus issues that can cause smelling something that is not there, as well as brain tumors and seizures can sometimes do this. Smelling something that is not there is called phamtosmia.  See a doctor and see what is going on.

Blood breakdown: The ammonia smell is characteristic of rapid bleeding and release of amines which is a breakdown product. After the bleeding is finished make sure that you also don't have a vaginal infection such as bacterial vaginitis.

Check liver enzymes: Ammonia is produced in tissue and metabolized to urea , then excreted by the kidneys. An odor of ammonia may indicate a liver that is not functioning well. Common causes are hepatitis or cirrhosis. A check of liver enzymes, ammonia level,  and physical exam.

The body breaks down protein and converts it to glucose to use as fuel and nitrogen is the waist product. Nitrogen is usually converted to urea by the kidneys and excreted(pee'd) out. If the kidneys can't handle the load it is eliminated out the body through sweet.
