The question?: If your boyfriend has HIV , you need to take the proper precaution.  He will also need to be under the care of someone who takes care of HIV and you need to be tested for STDs as well.  Don't delay.

for some reason i have a chalky taste in my mouth that i can't get rid of. i noticed it after taken an aleve. i tried mint, water, juice.

Chalky taste: May be reflux. NSAID ( non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs of which aleve is one can) irritate the stomach and cause/exacerbate   gastrits, reflux  Consider rantidine or prevacid  or ginger and see if ti helps.  f/u/ w/ doc

i have a tooth ache and can not get it pulled until thursday, is it anything i can do now? i have taken aleve, (naproxen) i have used orajel, and mouth wash

As : As dr mcleod recommended, try a different otc pain reliever. Do you have an infection? Were you examined for this tooth? If you have an infection then an antibiotic will revieve some of the pressure.

Forget the orajel and mouthwash. They are not going to help this type of pain

ive been taking clindamycin 450 ml since sept 21st for a dental infection, and naproxen twice day. the infection is not gone and inside of my mouth keeps swelling. what do i do?

: Watch for signs of fever and difficulty swallowing. If there is continued sign of infection, please discuss a longer course or a switch of the antibiotic. An antiseptic mouth rinse three times daily often is helpful.

i take morphine sulfate 200mg 3x a day. had a routine saliva drug test. tested positive for fentanyl. is this possible? never had fentanyl ever?

my 13 year old slept wrong, now the right side of his neck hurts. he can't turn his head right to good. can he take aleve and then advil? and if so how many hours should he wait in between?

: If you can see your physician. If you cannot, do some heat on the site and back of the neck. Supplement that with aleve or Advil. Not both.

Yes it's OK: You are ok treating your headache. However, there have been some studies which indicated that use of anti-inflammatories, even tylenol (acetaminophen) within 24 hours of an immunization may decrease the effectiveness of the shot.  You might consider using non-pharmacologic methods: massage, a heating pad or pack of ice (whichever temperature seems to work best for you.)  or try taking a better nap today.

Tylenol: You could try Tylenol or excedrin if you have no problems with acetaminophen or aspirin such as liver problems, gastritis, stomach ulcer.

Headache: Yes you can try tylenol (acetaminophen) take two tabletsor if you took only one 220 mgm of Aleve you can take another.And if that does not help take tylenol (acetaminophen).This remedy is only for simple headach.If the headache persists then you see your doctor.

since my wisdom teeth are probably coming in what should i do for the soreness in my jaw? i take ibuprofen and aleve (naproxen) but what else should i do?

Oral surgeon: You should have the wisdom teeth evaluated by an oral surgeon. You may need the teeth removed surgically.
