No: Unless you have underlying accomodative esotropia, computer use will not cause your eyes to cross. If you have accomodative esotropia whenever you focus on close objects your eyes tend to converge too much. Wearing the proper glasses will prevent your eyes from crossing. Computer use doesn't cause your eyes to cross.

Esotropia: Strabismus in your age group  could require  surgery on one or more extra ocular muscles.Occasionally glasses can alleviate the problem.

Don't freak: Identifying and treating the problem early will avoid serious vision issues later.  Depending on what the problem is exactly, there are a variety of treatments, from surgery to just covering her stronger eye to force her to use and strengthen the weaker one.

Type of soap?: If you got soap in your eye, the 1st thing to do is copiously rinse your eye with tap water, eye rinse, or normal saline right away. Do this this for several minutes. I assume you are talking about bathing soap. Stronger soaps such as wash detergents, dishwasher soaps, industrial soaps are far more concentrated &amp; may significantly irritate your eye. After significantly rinsing your eye, see an MD.

Cold temp: Rest, ice, compression, elevation (treatment for swelling).  Should improve with time.

Time to see your Dr.: You need to follow up with your doctor to make sure you aren't having post-head trauma issues involving your brain, and to see that you don't have a subdural bleed or something else causing your symptoms. Don't delay as this is important to evaluate and possibly image too with CT scan or MRI. Your doctor knows best!

Go to hospital: First call the police and file a police report then go to the hospital to get checked out.  You might also want to get a restraining order against this person.
