Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine): Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is an amphetamine-class medication so you will test positive for amphetamine (or methamphetamine) if taking this medication. Best to let the facility know ahead of time and bring proof of the prescription.

i submitted a urine test for a drug screening. i had unprotected sex 8-10 hours before testing. i'm sober. didn't know the guy i had sex with used meth until after. when i peed in the cup i noticed semen with my urine. will the test be positive?

: In theory, amphetamine is present in the urine. However, your urine was just contaminated with your partner's semen so I am not sure if the test will be positive. For just a tiny amount of semen in urine, the test has to be highly sensitive for detecting the drug. So my answer can be either and you won't be surprised if the test turns out positive.

Wrong question.: It is illegal to use methamphetamine, and it is unethical for doctors to tell patients how to pass drug tests. If you can't afford to fail a drug test you can't afford to use methamphetamine. That notwithstanding there isn't a dirtier drug you could choose with greater risks associated with use. Just don't. And don't expect a any ethical doctor to help you do anything but quit. Please get help.

: Hair sampling for drug and toxicology are not very accurate and are affected by products we put in our hair such as dyes, conditioners, gels or sprays. Urine
testing is the most accurate and your urine screen was negative the explanation of your hair sample would be a false positive and should be of no concern.

No: The antibiotics do nothing with the meth. It is metabolized separately from the antibiotics and will eventually disappear from the body over time.It clears from urine in days and  studies of your hair could show trace amounts that persists for quite a while.

Doubt it: Zdot is an expensive shampoo ($34.95 for one use, and that's "guaranteed" for only 24 hours because your body oils will re-contaminate the hair, supposedly.)  once you've used meth, the drug could be in your hair for 3 months. : Methamphetamine use of any kind or quantity will be picked up on drug tests for approximately 90 days. (plus or minus 10-15 days) Hair follicle tests can be positive for 6  months. Hydroxizine is not known to cause false positives for Meth. Ask for another test to be done or more specialized test such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)

No: Pseudoephedrine is used in the making of methamphetamine, but will not show up in any illicit drug screen.
