3 years ago through denti-cal i got a full set of dentures, well last week i lost my bottom while out of town. i need to know if denti-cal will allow a replacement set/bottom before the time i'm due a new set.

They can be mild or very severe with associated abnormalities like a syrinx(hole in the spinal cord), and other problems.

Chiari type II (2)?: Chiari malformations develop due to a decreased size in the back of the skull. Because there is not enough space for the brain to develop, a part of the brain called the cerebellar tonsils get pushed through through the hole where the spinal cord attaches to the brain. This results in increased pressure and development of "cysts" in the spinal cord. Chiari ii has additional brain&cord changes.

In occasional cases decompressive surgery can relieve some of these symptoms.  In some cases the surgery just causes more discomfort.  The findings of the chiari 1 do not change with surgery.
