i have an ear clogging that has been going on for almost a year now, it has been giving me symptoms such as dizziness, crackling in ear ?

Many causes: There are many causes for dizziness. You should have your PCP evaluate you. Yes clogged ears may cause dizziness. You have to look for cause which is usually allergy. In the meantime you can try Valsalva maneuver maneuver to unclog ears i.e. by pressing soft part of nose block your nostrils and try to pop your ears but that is a temporary relief

See long answer: Dizziness is a very general symptom.  Ear dizziness usually only lasts for a few weeks.  It can be symptom of central nervous system or heart or blood vessels or emotional system.  You should see doctor.

E-tube dysfunction: The crackling sound is the eustachion tube trying to equalize the pressure between the middle ear and the sinuses. Decongestants intermittent uses are helpful.
Saline nasal washes can help liquify the mucous so it can drain easier.

One : One possibility is that you have fluid behind your ear drums.  This can occur after a viral infection or when the eustachian tubes, that drain from the ears into the throat, become plugged or aren't functioning properly.  You are doing the right thing to try nasal decongestants and ibuprofen, and you could try periodically performing  "yawns" (gently opening your mouth wide) to try to open up your eustachian tubes,  but if these don't help your symptoms a physician may be able to prescribe other medications that could help.  If you develop fever, headache, ear pain, or other new symptoms than please seek medical evaluation.

Not usually: Though earbuds can shift the more superficial wax in your ear, it is unlikely that these will impact your ear completely, unless you already have a significant amount of wax. It is also unlikely that the wax impaction of your ear will cause dizziness, though sometimes patients will describe the fullness that they get from the impaction as dizziness.
