have crackle sound in throat when i swallow salaiva. 3 ent laryngoscopy & ba swallow test says i have gerd.
so shud i worried or is it normal in gerd?

Treatment: Crackling sounds in the throat, in my opinion, are very rare with LPR or high GERD.  I would not worry but if GERD is a possible reason, then make sure you have proper medical treatment for GERD.

Postnasal drip?: You may have upper respiratory drainage that can cause rattling sounds and even sore throat. Do continue your smoking cessation efforts and get all the support and advice that you can.

Number of things...: This could be anything from a bacterial sinus infection that has caused upper airway inflammation, ear infection to acute bronchitis to any number of viral illness. Viral is most likely with headaches and vertigo, stay hydrated! the crackles could be mucus in upper airways, even draining from sinuses or ears. If you have an increase in shortness of breath and is concerning to you, er if worried.

Normal: Can be normal but if painful it needs to be evaluated and treated- see an Ortho spine specialist or physical medicine/rehab specialist (PM&amp;R)

Doubtful: Doubtful, this may simply be the vertebrae / bones in your neck adjusting. The neck and back are fluid and moveable bones, that is where osteopathic medicine and chiropractic medicine can manipulate your bones to assist in realignment. Don't be alarmed, continue close follow up with your primary care provider.

Burping?: Gas in your stomach can come up your food pipe to your throat, which leads to a burp. It's caused by swallowing air while eating, or ingesting carbonated beverages that generate carbon dioxide ( co2) in your stomach.

Could be anything: Pain in throat sometime only can be from allergies, viral infections, gastr esophageal reflux etc and if it is persitant see your doctor to find the cause.

COPD: The rattling is usually fluid which can be from asthma or emphesema- two types of copd.  Don't smoke- this paralyzes the small hairs in the lungs which prevents secretions from being clears.  Allergies with post nasal drip can also lead to noises.
