What are possible causes for the rattling sound in my chest/throat?

COPD: The rattling is usually fluid which can be from asthma or emphesema- two types of copd. Don't smoke- this paralyzes the small hairs in the lungs which prevents secretions from being clears. Allergies with post nasal drip can also lead to noises.
