i am allergic to sulfa containing medications. i just bought a cough syrup (torex-br) and it has terbutaline sulphate. is this also sulfa?

Check with pharmacy: SUlfa drugs are a class of drugs called sulfonimides, Terbutaline is not in that class, and the sulfate refers to a part of the terbutaline. Should be ok, but always best to check with the pharmacist, or you obstetrician. Hope this helps!

i ate a cake(3hrs ago) which may have wine as ingredient. just checking if i'm able to eat my medications later? (chlorpheniramine 4mg & cough syrup)

Strep test: He may have Strep A infection and a throat swab is recommended. COVID 19 may also present with these symptoms, and a screening test may be performed at your local sites. 
He should self isolate, drink fluids, rest and take Tylenol rather than Motrin for fever. 
Watch for signs of shortness of breath, and if this occurs, please see the Emergency department.

Tylenol: Take Tylenol, rather than Motrin for fever control. Rest, drink fluids and if your breathing worsens, please go to the hospital.

Raid is the problem: The raid spray is irriating your mucous membrane from inhalation, and if gargling with saline rinses don't help, you can call the poison control center (for your state), and they will give you antidotes. Don't believe that cough syrup will work, as it's primarily sugar with some expectorant. Don't delay, so you can start feeling better.

PSE worsens anxiety: It is best to avoid medications containing PSE if you have anxiety, as it worsens the anxiety.  The other ingredients listed are fine, however, and can be taken together without worsening the anxiety.  Find a cough syrup without PSE.

Yes: However it is important to get in touch with our prescribing doctor. Something should get better by now examples--- shortness of breath, sputum production, sputum color etc. The respiratory epithelium is replaced by an young immature epithelium ( lining of the breathing tubes) as a part of the healing process. It is very sensitive to stimuli resulting in prolonged cough ( upto 6 weeks ).

Yes: The active component in this medication is a narcotic and will suppress a cough, but will also show up in the urine test for narcotics.
