Change shoes.: A "corn" is a hard calloused tissue that grows on a toe in response to abnormal friction. Depending on the location of the problem, larger or different style shoes may help alleviate the pain and prevent the "corn" from reoccurring.  If you are able, gently file the hard skin with an emery board to remove some of the dead skin. Don't use sharp items or acid containing dressings.

Ointment,change shoe: Soak your feet in warm water, apply an ointment like kerasal, cover with tape or a bandaid over night.  That should help soften it and loosen it.  Once you get rid of it stop wearing the shoe that is rubbing it.

: Your corn will continue to reappear because you’re not getting at the cause of the problem. What causes the problem is the toe is rubbing up against the shoe causing the callus to form. Pads help protect it but they will not resolve it. The only way to resolve the problem is with surgical intervention. See a podiatrist for consideration

Deodorant: Corns form from friction against the skin, but also moisture is needed.  On top of changing shoes and socks, try moisture control by using spray deodorant on your feet (yes, the same armpit deodorant you buy).  This may help decrease moisture and therefore decrease chance of corns.  Also file them down daily in the shower or use Vicks vapor rub to soften them up..
