Corex is not availab: In the us, but corex is known to cause short term memory loss, sleeplessness, tremors and spasms. Muscular pains and dehydration are other common side-effects.

Side effects: Corex is basically an antihistamine and codeine, and people use it as a cough suppressant.  Google anticholinergic toxicity and opiate toxicity for side effects.  They both are harmful if used in excess acutely, but long-term use isn't known to cause severe end-organ damage as much as cause problems from the common side effects (dizziness causing falls, respiratory depression from opiate, etc).

Drug addiction: Since corex contains codiene, and since youve been taking it for a year i would say you have a drug addiction. Seek help from an addiction center or your physician.

Don't Do It: If you mean restoril, (temazepam) the sleeping medication taking , 50 tablest of any dosage of it could be fatal. Taking 50 tablets of any medication could be very dangerous. Medication dosages and combinations should not be used to do experiments. Meds should be taken only as prescribed and any ideas about variations should be discussed with the doctor. Talk with your with your doc rather than self medicate.

Nasal drip: Adding the use of a Netti Pot or nasal rinse bottle can help nasal cold and allergy symptoms. Be sure to use only distilled or boiled water for nasal irrigation to prevent a bacterial or fungal infection from starting.

Sleep: Usually you will feel excessively sleepy and impairs your judgment concentration etc. Also depends on how many sleeping pills and how much cough syrup, if this was an attempt to harm your self please call 911 or go to the er
if its one pill and one teaspoon of corex you should be fine except your jugdment to drive handle machinery could be impaired unto 72 hours.

Cough suppressants: Corex is codeine based cough syrup which should not be given to children. Proapan is made with English Ivy and while there is no solid evidence for it's effectiveness, as long as the child has no allergies to it, it should be safe. In general suppressing a child's cough is not a good idea because coughing helps them "clean" their airways

Diagnosis?: If kidney and liver function are stable then Clarithromycin is well tolerated. But antibiotics should only be taken when indicated. If he is still not well then please discuss it in detail with a physician.

hi dr., my husband suffers pain in his feet specially soles, toes, ankles. he has calf muscle cramps too. he is addicted to corex.has knee degeneration?

pain: The first thing to do is get him to a reputable doctor to help him get off the corex as it is probably the Codeine he is addicted to.  At ht e same time get him to a podiatrist for the help he needs.   Good luck.
