my ear has been congested and muffled with mild pain for about 11 days ive tried popping it and it still is muffled & i hear popping sounds, help pls?

Need to  be seen: It could just be a cold with Eustachian tube dysfunction.However other possibilities are a middle ear infection vs external ear infection.Been to be seen to see if need antibiotics since having pain.

Sinus Infection: You could have a sinus infection.  See your doctor. Sometimes all you need is antibiotics to help clear you up in no time.

Yes: Popping sounds, crackling, pressure feeling in ears are all symptoms that can occur with eustachian tube dysfunction.  A history of environmental allergies, nasal or sinus congestion, upper respiratory infections can all contribute to the condition. Using a decongestant can be helpful. See your doctor for an exam of your head/neck/ears/throat to be sure of the diagnosis.

Allegies?: You may have some focal fluid in the ears, or you might have sclerosed eardrums.  Have a doctor take a peek!

TMJ: You may have a problem with your jaw joint that may get inflammed from the joint moving in the capsule. Check with your otolaryngologist

sometimes, hearing in my left ear is less sharp than my right ear--but if i pinch my nose and blow and pop my ears, it clears up for the rest of the day. what's going on?

Eustachian tube: Dysfunction, this is the tube connecting your middle ear and your throat to equalize pressure on both sides of the ear drum, one on each side. If blocked or doesn't function properly, happens often with upper respiratory tract infections, can lead to what you described. Kindly visit your doctor who may refer you to an ENT specialist, meanwhile, use saline nasal washes often, good luck

Ear popping: Could be seasonal allergies. Nasocort and saline rinses should help. You could also add  claritan for an antihistamine.

Nasal decongestant: If this is from a cold , a nasal decongestant spray may be considered (not to be used over 5 days). If the problem persists beyond 10 days, see your doctor to rule out a sinus infection.

ive had a dull head ache for last 4 days. on and off. accompanied by micro dizziness spells. ive been hearing my sinus pop behind my nose but my nose isnt congested. is this sinus related or something more sinister?
