Lateral Elbow: The common extensor tendon is the confluence of tendons from the edc, ecrl and ecrb muscles.  It is commonly called tennis elbow. Due to overload (eccentric) to these tendons causing them to tear, scar, shorten and hurt.  Treatments are many but i would begin with your atc to begin astym treatment. For a symptomatic small tear in an in season athlete may consider platelet rich plasma injection.

: Tennis elbow occurs on the outer side and golfers on the inner side of the elbow. Pre-existing conditions are any thing which occurred before the present one. Then it becomes -whether we are talking about a specific area or region of the body. So it depends on many things

Not usually: It is possible, with rest and activity avoidance your pain can be diminished but the problem may not totally go away. Physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, and possible steroid injections can aid in pain reduction. Depending on the severity of the partial tear you may need surgery to eliminate the impingement and to repair the tear.

Complete vs. split?: Peroneus longus tendon injuries are more common in 40+ yr olds. The tears can be complete or longitudinal splits down near your ankle. If rest, therapy and nonoperative treatment fail to improve symptoms of pain, surgery may be indicated to debride the injured tissue or repair the tear/avulsion or longitudinal split. An orthopaedic foot and ankle specialist can guide your decision.

: Return to the orthopedic surgeon.  You may need updated imaging to assess the extent of rotator cuff damage.  Surgery or injections are potential interventions.  Physical therapy may take time, and 2 weeks is far too short to assess value.  So, make appointments and get further advice.

Fluid: Sounds like you have some type of tendinits or inflamation at at the insertion of the tendon. If that is infection it may need drained or would guide your doctor to appropriate therapy.

Ice.: Ice the area for 20 minutes at a time, take an anti-inflammatory medication. You may need physical therapy in addition, to restore everything  back to normal.

Depends on which one: There are certainly non-surgical treatments for tendon injuries, but it depends on which tendon is injured. Some tendons in the hand heal well with splinting, some require surgery. Treatment for an achilles tendon is controversial, with some advocating for surgery and others for bracing or casting. You should check with your doctor to discuss relative risks and benefits for your specific injury.

See an upper ex spec: A six month old proximal bicep reptile can be ignored or fixed by an upper extremity specialist. The distal biceps rupture is a more difficult problem and you need to find someone who has performed tendon grafts.
