how do doctors treat a colovesical fistula?

Colon resection: Colovesicle fistula is usually secondary to diverticulitis with perforation into the bladder.  A colonoscopy will see any colon abnormalities pre op.

how common are colovesical fistulas ? i have uti that hasnt gone away but they did change my antibiotics. i had mild diverticulitis few years ago and spoke to my gi and hes not too concerned about it being possible colovesical fistula. thanks?

: How can you tell you have bubbles in your urine? Have you seen the bubble coming out from your urethra opening or just the bubbles in the toilet bowl? If just the bubbles or foam in the toilet bowl, they are normal. Colovesical fistula is a serious issue, your urine will be  infected, besides bubbles urine is very turbid because colon contains tons of bacteria. Normal UA rules out this condition.

: Yes, diverticulitis is among the conditions that could lead to a colovesical fistula. But normal urinalysis is nearly 100% evidence against it. Discuss with the doctor who manages your diverticulosis.

can an urethral stricture in a male be repaired with  treatment?

Definitely: Surgcal treatment depends upon urethral location plus length of stricture. Urethral dilatation is invariably temporary and structures recur, unless they are regularly calibrated or dilated. Cystoscopic transurethral incision of stricture is good for "iris" type very short strictures. Bulbar and distal stictures up to 2cm in length can be excised. Longer strictures require inlay or onlay grafts.

Weight change?  : Did you have a weight change?  Stretch marks will fade with time. You can try lotions and even baby oil but time is your best bet

35 yr old, w male. pacemaker in january, mitral valve repair in may. ef went from 55 before surgery to 25 6 weeks later. how serious is this?

Yes or no: ur EF may go down if u have ventricular pacer only, in which case u may have to increase ur rate to 70 or 80 bpm. If AV pacer with rate of 70 and EF is low, it is very serious, find out the reason  and u may have to replace pacer for an AICD as per ur Cardiologist.

i'm a 22y male, 67kg. recently i had a mesh repair for my inguinal hernia. after 13 days of the operation, the wound gets swelled. is that normal?

Likely: There is usually some resolving hematoma and fluid around the surgical site and the mesh.
Should stabilize
discussion with surgeon and follow instructions.

Partial prob.: At your knee arthroscopy if the meniscus has any healing potential then your ors can 'fix it' thru the scope.Your tear pattern is unfortunately not one that lends itself to repair.Tears in the peripheral1/3 of the meniscus have the best blood supply and are amenable for repair.Since yours is not(apparently) in this region it will most likely require partial meniscectomy.Good luck.Get photos...

59yr male mitral valve repair 10yrs ago disharged cardio checkups,not on medication.near syncope 2 a yr but never fainted cardiologist said it's to do with my blood flow different to others now.had near syncope yesterday standing ,no other symptoms?

: Check seated and standing BP and BP after going up and down on toes. If drops more than 20 mm or u get dizzy call Dr.  Especially if you are taking any meds that affect blood pressure. You can look them up at Drugs.com to see if cause dizzy spells. I
